The
Scenario
The contractor only had light equipment available
for the project since it would not be possible to
get an excavator near the creek. The limited
equipment available would exclude heavier pieces of
equipment from being used on the project.
The
Solution
John Knighten met with the contractor to discuss the
unique project and how Coble Trench Safety could
help reach a feasible solution. After a brief
discussion, it was decided that a small aluminum
trench shield could be used along with sand bags to
plug the gaps along the trench shield.
